All aboard!

If you aren't already on the BronBron bandwagon, now's the time to hop aboard. Or rather, last night's game 5 was the time. Never one to shy away from hyperbole, Marv Albert called it one of the great performances in NBA history, and Steve Kerr called it Jordanesque. Not like we haven't heard that comparison before, but I guess he would know. The box score doesn't tell the whole story. I love when he drives to the hoop, glides past 3-4 defenders while somehow continuing to elevate, and finishes with a thunderous dunk. Hide the women and children! Kobe deserves consideration, but no other player has been this fun to watch since a certain other 23 hung up his Jordans.

One of the greater things about LeBron is that he turned it on at the right time in the season - hopefully he still has some left in the tank for the championship

Bill Gates wants to get Microsoft more involved with supercomputing, so he delivered the keynote address. Based on this admittedly small sample, I'd say Bill's parties are a lot more entertaining than his keynote speeches . The Microsoft party was hosted at the Experience Music Project , which is right next to the Space Needle . Upon arrival, I quickly located the main stage, along with the most accessible bars and appetizer spawn points. While I was waiting for the main event I entertained myself at the Science Fiction Museum , which I enjoyed more than I care to admit. At 10 pm sharp Sheryl Crow took the stage. The first episode of Survivor: Panama: Exile Island aired last night. This season the gimmick is they've split the 16 contestants into four tribes to start out: older women, older men, younger women, and younger men (more on this later). After each reward challenge, the losing team has to leave one member behind to spend the night alone on Exile Island. The upside to this is that supposedly there is an immunity idol hidden on the island. Anyhoo, after five years and a dozen locations, Survivor is still your best destination for reality television. Oh I'm sure a lot of production-y stuff goes on behind the scenes, but toward the end of those 39 days, the contestants are beat-up, weathered and hungry. Some look downright emaciated. That's real. But you know what would be even more real than Survivor? Survivor in HD. Since I picked up my first HDTV last summer, I've been gratified to find more and more HD programming available.
